#37 Camille

Cairn Lecture Theatre, Summerhall

Powerful, dark biography of a wronged artist. A woman held in mental asylum by brother and patriarchal laws. Sculptor, Rodin's lover and almost-mother of his child. Captive, visited by a friend. Destruction of plaster models very powerful. Not much of a story, felt a bit stretched. But justice, lack thereof is a good mix for arty theme.
