Elaborate fairy tale of townsfolk, a family struggling against a persistent wintery threat of February to the tune of Shyamalan's film The Village. A resistance movement, the Proposition(?), mounting attacks against the threat. Flight is banned, no balloons. People disappear, die.
Excellent writing. Some songs, even. Making love in the snow to fight February. Humorous bits, too. Memorable forestial staging with seats on the sides. Twigs, trees, ballon gear, saw pulp on the floor. A dreamy story from a cast of three plus a musician. Fringe First winner.
